Projected Lineup
It's very hard to guess for this first match, because I've not seen them play others yet and they've got a new coach so might not follow patterns from last season.
What to Watch For
- Northridge's one and two singles.
It's a good bet that whoever plays two singles for them will be the best two singles player we will see all year.
- Bottom of the lineup questions.
Blake Lukin and James Brandenburger return at two doubles for the Raiders, but will they play together and move up to one doubles? Or will one of them slide into three singles? Who will play the two doubles spot, the top JV singles players from last year or the number one JV doubles team from last year of Chocola and Eash?
- Bethany's injuries.
With two of last year's varsity performers missing due to injury, how will the lineup adjust to their new spots? Both Ben Mast and Seth Krabill will be playing their first varsity matches, and should be confident headed in, ready for their first experience.
- Playing with hope.
It's been a goal of ours since last year's 3-2 loss to give a great effort and win our program's first victory over Northridge. We need to be determined and confident, because we have the talent to attack this match with real hope.
