Westview Preview (Again)

Last Season Review: Last season's match versus Westview was one of the biggest heartbreakers of the year. We led the match 2-1 and needed just one more spot to seal the win, but both Jared Schwartzentruber and Luke Hostetter fell in third set tiebreaks. So close.

Westview Details: Westview returns 3 players from last year's solid campaign. They lose #1S and #1D however, which were some of their stronger positions. As of last Wednesday, Westview was 4-1 on this season. They have defeated two opponents that we have also defeated, beating Goshen 3-2 and Jimtown 4-1. These are interesting matches because both Goshen and Jimtown changed their lineups after being beaten by us. So Westview did not play them in the same spots, making it tough to compare. In their latest matchup with one of our Sectional opponents, Westview fell to Fairfield 3-2. The match was extremely close, as Fairfield needed two third setters to pull out the victory. Westview won #1S and #2S in two sets each.

Bethany Christian Details: We are coming off our third loss of the season, this time to Warsaw. We've had a pretty good week of practice, but will find ourselves with a little different lineup tonight due to some missing players.
