Where We're Playing in the Winter

So we want to continue to hone our games during the off-season, right? Well, here comes an all important stretch of the year known as winter, where the motivation from the end of last season is wearing off and the next season seems to far away. We want to continue to give everyone opportunities to play right through this. So, in honor of this difficult tennis stretch, the BC tennis website is back up and running.

For my first post of the winter, how about the times and places you can play during the winter.

- Every Friday at four we meet at Maple City Racquet Club. If you have a junior membership it is free. If not the guest fee is like $5-10 per visit.

- Every week on Wednesdays? we will have a "Workout with Johnny Kauffman Day," because Johnny can't make it on Friday afternoons. Same deal as the Fridays as far as money goes.

- Every Sunday afternoon, Concord coach Todd Tharp runs high school open court from 1-5. The cost for that is $5 regardless of membership, but you get to play others from other schools.

Pray for warm weather. The sooner the snow melts the sooner we'll move to the college courts for open courts, probably twice a week. Thanks to all of you who are participating. The passion and the desire is much more evident this year as we pursue success.
