Laville Preview

Details: Monday, August 29, at 4:30 PM at Bethany Christian High School.

Last Season Review: We played Laville's varsity against our JV last year. They won 3-2.

3 Interesting Facts:
- We used to play in a Laville Invitational in September, with Laville, SB Washington, and Michigan City Marquette. Laville is the only one of those teams we still play.
- Our last 4 varsity matches have involved at least one tiebreak.
- Tonight we will play our 4th different lineup of the season. Lots of people, getting lots of experience.

Laville Details: According to their online schedule, it looks as if the Lancers have only played one match this year. They should have played South Bend Adams, but I have not been able to find a result.

Bethany Christian Details: Our varsity is 3-4 on the season, but we easily could be 5-2. We lost two 3-2 matches last week in the closest of circumstances, but we're learning and growing and going to keep it going.

Outlook: We really don't know what to expect. The three returning players lost to Parth and Abe last year, but we don't really know what new players have shown up to play for the Lancers. We do know that they have 7 players this year, so the varsity match should be a full match. I guess we'll find out more tonight!
